Building on Rock (Solid Foundation)

Habits rooted in God’s wisdom that create lasting stability and peace.

Stewardship – Recognizing God owns it all and managing resources faithfully (Psalm 24:1, 1 Cor 4:2).

Planning & Budgeting – Counting the cost and preparing (Luke 14:28, Prov 21:5).

Saving & Preparing – Setting aside for future needs instead of consuming everything (Prov 21:20, Prov 6:6–8).

Generosity – Giving joyfully and helping others, investing in eternal things (2 Cor 9:7, Prov 19:17).

Contentment – Choosing peace over greed, putting God above money (1 Tim 6:6–10, Matt 6:24).

Building on Sand (Weak Foundation)

Habits driven by impulse, pride, or worldly thinking that lead to instability.

Neglecting Stewardship – Living as if money is yours alone, not God’s.

Poor Planning – Spending without counting the cost, acting hastily (Prov 21:5).

Debt & Overextension – Living beyond your means, enslaved to payments (Prov 22:7, Rom 13:8).

Selfishness & Hoarding – Refusing generosity, clinging tightly to money (Luke 12:20–21).

Greed & Discontent – Always chasing more, never satisfied (Eccl 5:10, 1 Tim 6:9).
